At Andante, our guests have every opportunity to slow down, rest, relax, rejuvenate, and renew. Stay minutes from the small town of Cruz Bay, with its restaurants and shopping. 

This rental home situated on St. John’s scenic southeastern shore is  faced into the cooling trade winds. Designed in modified Mediterranean-style, this home utilizes accents of native stone.  Andante is nestled on a shelf carved into the living rock above beautiful Hart Bay. You will be high enough to look down on birds in flight, yet low enough to hear the sea. Andante is unusual in that its panoramic decks offer spectacular views of both sunrise and sunset. You will have a full 270-degree view from glittering St. Thomas east to Rams Head!

There are three large bedrooms, all with sea views. Each bedroom also comes with private decks, full baths, and air conditioning. A canopied king-size bed and rattan furnishings with a Victorian flair grace the master suite. The two guest bedrooms have twin beds easily converted to comfortable kings.

The villa is furnished throughout in contemporary tropical rattan, teak, and eclectic accents from around the world. Vaulted cypress-beamed ceilings and overhead fans accent the great room, kitchen, and two upper bedrooms.

The fully-equipped gourmet kitchen includes up to date appliances. Have access to an electric ceramic top range/convection & conventional oven, microwave, dishwasher, and side-by-side refrigerator/freezer with ice maker/dispenser. The whole house has triple filtered and UV water systems and a ‘steaming hot’ water dispenser. The kitchen also comes equipped with a blender, coffee maker, bread maker, and espresso/cappuccino machine. A fully-automatic stainless steel gas grill and outdoor dining area for dinner under the stars is a few steps away on a trellised patio.

The pool and hot tub are cantilevered into the cliff on the west side of the property for maximum views and breeze. Appreciate the dramatic colors of the sky no matter the time of day or location in the home. 

Andante comes equipped with everything you will need for a relaxed island vacation. Your linens, towels, and dishcloths are provided. For those who still need to stay connected, there is a m,phone, fax and printer, Wi-Fi, and high speed internet. There is a satellite TV with premium channels and DVD players for those days when it rains. CD-radio and satellite radio is in the great room and in each bedroom, with surround sound multi-zoned stereo even piped to the pool and hot tub. There is an extensive selection of books and music in the media library. We have everything you need, right down to the beach chairs and coolers. You only pack your bathing suit and a few clothes for trips into town.

A private path winds down to the secluded pebble and coral beach below, offering fabulous snorkeling at one the best spots on the island. Enjoy crystal blue water with very few people. A left turn at the bottom of the hill takes you for a tranquil swim in nearby Chocolate Hole. The famous north shore beaches are a few minutes drive away, perfect for long relaxing days spent at the beach.

If chilling on your own is what you seek in your ultimate vacation, Andante is your vacation home.
